There’s a movement that never stops. There’s a speed that never changes. There’s a rhythm that we all feel at the same moment. This is TIME……
Time is the ONE thing that we as humans cannot control. But if we know the creator of time, we will know how to follow time.
Have you ever felt that time stood still or that time passed by so quickly? Those 2 facts have often made me so aware of the fact that I am not in control of this thing called TIME. One thing I have discovered though, is that my circumstances often dictate the time in my life. Whether it’s challenging, sad or happy and joyous, TIME takes the control.
More and more I am discovering that the God our creator of the universe, is in control of this thing called TIME.
One of the most famous scriptures in the Bible is about TIME
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
What a BUSY scripture that is! It covers everything. But it also assures me that God is IN EVERYTHING.
We often use the phrase: “time is against me” or: “I’m running out of time” The meaning is that we cannot keep up with time.
Skip Time? When it is time to die.
